Barbara YoderBarbara J. Yoder is the founder of Shekinah Christian Church, a racially and culturally diverse church in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Barbara is known for her cutting-edge prophetic ministry. She travels extensively within the United States as well as in other countries ministering in churches, conferences and seminars. NATIONAL AND REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Barbara has several responsibilities in addition to leading the church. Serves on the Global Apostolic Prayer Network National Apostolic Council led by C. Peter Wagner and Chuck Pierce. Michigan State Coordinator for the Michigan Global Apostolic Prayer Network under Dr. C. Peter Wagner, Dr. Cindy Jacobs and Dr. Chuck Pierce. Member of the faculty of Wagner Leadership Institute. Member of the International Coalition of Apostles under the direction of Dr. Peter Wagner. Serves on the national Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders led by Dr. Cindy Jacobs and Dr. Peter Wagner. PASSION OF HER HEART: Barbara has a passion to see the apostolic church restored (Acts 15:16-17) which will cause the harvest of new believers to erupt in cities, regions and nations. She moves powerfully in the area of spiritual warfare and breakthrough on a corporate level. She preaches the Word of God, which breaks through hard and impossible situations in individuals, churches, and cities. She is known for releasing life and liberty. She releases a strong apostolic message and anointing that will unlock the evangelistic thrust. ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND FAMILY: Prior to the ministry, Barbara worked in the academic field. She has taught at three major universities in the fields of medicine and nursing. She is a widow and the stepmother of five grown children and has six grandchildren. She resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan. |
